as you say your daily farewells to the sun & welcome the moon's embrace, as you are gearing up for a night of rest, know there is a magical place that thrives under a canopy of stars. beyond the human eye there is a forest and she is drenched in moonlight. fireflies light up the dark spaces of the trees and join our dance - the dance of the forest nymphs. the sprites, elves, fairies, woodland spirits, and other ethereal creatures visit often. we exchange tales and our gratitude for mother earth, of magic, of mystery, and living in harmony with the elements. we embrace each other until we're dancing upon morning dew and the sunlight once again sprinkles through the trees from the east, a day beginning anew.
on a particular day i ventured beyond the trees. i found myself where the land meets the water, where the mermaids sing their songs of the sea and tell tales of their aqueous adventures. they greeted me graciously and with the iridescent fruits of their aquatic home. they called them pearls. with these beautiful pearls every magical being joined in unison to help fashion a gown, to help join a world beyond the forest, where even more otherworldly, magical beings live.
my oh my, my loves. my heart is filled with inexplicable love & light. i am filled with gratitude for such a magical time, living as a simultaneous mernyphm; mother of pearl, daughter of forest. i was surrounded by the brightest & most beautiful fireflies i've ever seen in my entire life. thank you for dancing and singing along to songs that are equally of the sea and wood, and of all eras/fibers of my being. and the most sincerest thank yous to the brilliant, divine, magical beings who helped fashion, organize, and be part of this wonderful experience. and a very special shoutout to the most magical fairy of all: cynthia erivo ! this has been a truly special magical moment that's felt like a dream. i will bringing back stories from this day the woodlands and the sea to share as we dance and swim under the moonlight
