my first word was "bubble." i can't help but feel i was destined to get to know you more. from a young age i looked up to you, i will never forget the first time i met you. i was 10 years old and thought the entire l. frank baum land of oz of you. i've watched you grow over the years, every season, a new stage, a new glinda right before my very eyes. each n every one brought a tear to those very eyes as they stepped into your susan hilferty designed shoes ! now, your wand is being passed to me & i can't help but feel an overwelming sense of ... wanting to toss, toss my hair every second i can? but also, joy. so, so, so much joy. and gratitude. i have a big bubble to fill and i hope i make u proud. it's been an honor, a privilege to get to know you in depths i didn't before. thank you, from the bottom of my big ass heart, for letting me spend the next two years with you. you will never know how deeply, truly, sincerely, how profoundly, i adore you.
