I believe that the only constant in life, is change. When you least expect it anything can happen whether it's heartbreak, loss, betrayal, new friends, new love, travels, adventures, career opportunities... anything. It's inevitable and what we choose to make of it is up to us.
So no matter what day of the year it is, make all the memories, hold on to all of the people and things that spark joy in your spirit and want to stay, let go of the ones that choose to leave. Laugh as much as possible. Say "fuck off" if you want to say it. Accept and learn from the things that attempt to break you. Do something you've always wanted to do but have been afraid to. Allow yourself to feel all of the emotions along the way and don't apologize for expressing them. Have tons of amazing sex that would make angels clutch their halos and demons blush. And remember, it's all of the little everyday things that amass to become the big picture at the end of the ride. Be present in all of it.

This is what I'm continuously working on, a non-resolution to be more present and open to what every day of this life and the universe throw at me. I want to exist as authentically as possible and always be grateful to experience 2023 and every year to come.
