Settings Disable/allow apps Near the start of the code you'll see: const appShow = ["facetime", "calendar", "photos"...] This is an array that lists all apps you'd like to be visible. Removing them from the list disables the button. Re-adding them in quotes, by their label name (all lowercase, i.e. "stocks") re-enables them. Adding alert bubbles Following the apps list, you'll see const appAlerts = [ "0"...]. This is the number of alerts you'd like displayed per app, in order of appearance. They've been labeled (i.e. //facetime) for ease of locating. Please do not delete any zeroes! They're holding a place in line :) Data attributes To help keep things as neat as possible, I've included lots of data attributes that do some heavy lifting in populating information. These are similar to class="" or style="", in that they are part of an element's opening tag and require some input. In the calendar panel, for example, you'll notice one of the first divs has class="day-of-week" data-day="saturday". Changing out "saturday" will alter the red marker at the top. Be on the lookout for these as you're filling the template! HTML comments There are lots of HTML comments in this template, which start with < !-- and end with --! >. These were added to help with calling out the sections in this very hefty template, as well as offering some helpful notes as you go along. You'll notice very quickly that these aren't invisible in jcink posts, and will need to be deleted for the content to fit right! Use them as a guide, as insurance that you've hit all the necessary pieces, and delete as you go along.
